Claydon House
For nearly 400 years Claydon has been the home of the Verney family. Today the historic house, gardens, parkland, church and courtyard businesses are open to the public. A visit to Claydon is a day out in the most tranquil of countryside settings. There is plenty to do for all the family; see the beautiful interiors of the house, roam the restored estate gardens, picnic, or simply eat, drink and shop in the 18th century courtyard.
Little known facts:
1. Enjoy lavish 18th Century interiors.
2. Marvel at the 17th Century gold doublet costumes.
3. Children's activities including trails and trying on historic costumes available.
