Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre

Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre is a 36 acre open-air site dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the south east.

Exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and vintage bus collection (both of which provide free transport around the site). the Connected Earth telecommunications hall, the Electricity Hall, a Printing Workshop and much more.

The museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the engraver, foundry man, walking stick maker, potter and clay pipe maker.

There is also a 96 seater restaurant,gift shop and numerous picnic areas.

We suggest allowing about three hours for your visit.

The Museum is closed during January, opening only for West Sussex Spring half term from 16th - 24th February 2013 for half-term activities.

The Museum season runs from Wednesday 13th March 2013 until Sunday 3rd November. It will then close for the rest of the year, re-opening only for the ticketed Santa Special events.

Opening times for the open season are from 10am - 5pm (last entry at 3.30pm) every Wednesday - Sunday, as well as Bank Holiday Mondays.
