Standen Barn Cottage has been completely refurbished to a very high standard providing a comfortable quality home whilst visiting Kent and Sussex. Situated in the grounds of the owners converted barn and surrounded by beautiful countryside. With the benefit of a double bedroom and bathroom on ground floor level this cottage is suitable for holidaymakers that may have a problem stairs. The living area is deceptively spacious with large kitchen/dining room and a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove.

The pretty villages of Cranbrook and Tenterden are only a short drive and provide a complete range of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.

Close to the Kent and East Sussex borders, this is an ideal location for visiting many places of interest including Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle, Bewl Water, Rye and the South Coast. The station at Staplehurst provides access to London with a journey time of one hour.

Ground floor: The entrance leads to a large open plan dining room/kitchen with table and chairs. Bathroom with bath, electric shower over, WC and wash basin. The comfortable sitting room has a colour television and wood burning stove. From here a door leads to the main double bedroom.

First floor: Bedroom with twin beds and chest of drawers. Across a small landing is an open dressing room with cupboard space and a futon for a sixth guest. Through this room is a small single bedroom.

Outside: There is an extensive patio at the front of the property and an enclosed lawn area at the rear, complete with table and chairs. Parking is provided beside the cottage.
