The Penny Farthing Hotel is ideally situated just off the High Street in Lyndhurst village centre. Lyndhurst is the ""Capital of the New Forest"" and is home to the main visitor centre and museum. Southampton, Fawley and Marchwood are 15/20 minutes to the east, Bournemouth and Christchurch are 30 minutes west. Winchester and Salisbury are just 30 minutes drive.
The hotel has evolved out of 2 Victorian houses having had many additions over the years. Every room is different in size and style and all have the benefit of colour TV, telephone, tea/coffee tray, clock radio, central heating.
All rooms have ensuite facilities. There is a licensed bar/TV lounge, WiFi facilities and separate breakfast room. To the rear of the hotel is a private courtesy car park, cycle store and we have free garage for motorcycles/specialist cars.
As well as bed and breakfast in the main hotel we also have some SELF CATERING properties available within the hotel and close by. These are ideal for a week away or long term business/relocation requirements.
