Manor Farm House

Type: Bed & Breakfast

Richard and Pamela Betts enjoy welcoming guests to their superbly comfortable Grade II listed farmhouse in the peaceful Downland village of Hampstead Norreys. 21st-century comforts include a splendid whirlpool bath ensuite and a luxurious annexe apartment, also suitable for guests with limited mobility. WiFi available in all rooms. Excellent meals are available in the White Hart Pub, 2 minutes walk away. There are many other good places to eat in the area including the Pot Kiln at Frilsham run by TV chef Mike Robinson. Guests looking for a relaxing break may explore our farm and walk in the neighbouring woods – our Labrador dogs will happily come with you! If you are on business, we offer a convenient and homely base for the Newbury, Thatcham and Aldermaston areas. For tourists and holiday-makers we are well placed for visits to Oxford, Winchester, Windsor and Bath. The tiny river Pang flows through the village, joining The Thames at Pangbourne, once home to Kenneth Grahame, author of Wind in the Willows. We are conveniently placed for Heathrow Airport and Portsmouth Ferry Terminal. Manor Farm is situated in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which offers a variety of interesting walks, including the ancient Ridgeway. Uffington, the White Horse and Wayland's Smithy are not far away. Guide books and maps are available for guests’ use. Click here to view Manor Farm House’s location
