Brunswick House

Type: Guest House

The Brunswick House is situated in the heart of Ventnor, which occupies a sheltered position overlooking the English Channel and which was known to the Victorians as “England’s Madeira”. It is ideally situated for activities such as walking, cycling and the many places of interest whilst Ventnor itself is host to a range of events, for example the yearly Jazz festival.

The house which is under new ownership was built over 150 years ago and retains its spacious Victorian character; however with its recent refurbishment it is warm, comfortable and welcoming.

All rooms are en-suite with colour TV and beverage facilities. On street parking is available and the House is within a few yards of a number of local car parks for which guests may have parking permits whilst staying on the Island. Permits may be obtained from any Tourist Information Centres on the Island.
