Windsor Tours

Windsor Tours offers informative and entertaining guided tours of Royal Windsor, Windsor Castle, Eton College and the surrounding areas, helping you to visit the sights at your own pace. Our tours are conducted on foot but, as part of our customised services, I am also qualified to accompany your coach or mini-bus to other destinations in England, such as pre-historic Stonehenge, Bath, Salisbury, Canterbury, Leeds Castle, Stratford upon Avon and many more.

Windsor Tours is operated by Hugh Burn, a London Registered Blue Badge Guide, member of the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides and the Institute of Tourist Guiding. The Blue Badge is the symbol of the highest standard of training and qualification and is internationally recognised as a hallmark of excellence. Blue Badge Guides are the only ones (excepting the in-house trained people) who can guide in Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, St Paul's' Cathedral, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Cambridge Colleges.

Hugh Burn recently achieved the Windsor and Eton Endorsement as part of the Insitute of Tourist Guiding continuing professional development programme. The course covered Windsor Castle, St George's Chapel, Windsor Town Centre, Eton, Eton College, The Royal Landscape and Windsor Great Park.
