Discover over 400 years of maritime history as you explore the world's most complete dockyard of the Age of Sail and 'meet' characters from the past. Set in a stunning 80 acres, our maritime galleries and attractions will excite and entertain you - whatever your age!
Make rope in our new Victorian Ropery Experience; be gripped by stories of life aboard the three Historic Warships, be absorbed by the sights, sounds and smells of the dockyard of 1758 recreated in the 'Wooden Walls' gallery and be inspired by the Museum of the Royal Dockyard and Lifeboat!
Also open to visitors for the first time is the wonderful '3 Slip - The BIG Store', one of many architectural treasures on site.
Visit the beautiful Commissioner's garden for a little peace a quiet and let the children let off steam in the indoor and outdoor play areas.

Road Directions
Chatham is only an hour's drive from London, Dover and the Channel Tunnel and a short distance from the M25. The site is sign posted from junctions 1, 3 and 4 of the M2. Follow the brown tourist signs. From Junctions 1 and 4 of the M2 - follow the brown signs and use the A289 (Wainscott Bypass) and the Medway Tunnel.
We have ample parking for cars, minibuses and coaches plus disabled parking bays.
