McArthur Glen

The huge tented structure which is the McArthurglen Designer Outlet was designed by Lord Richard Rogers, a designer heritage in keeping with the store names inside.

On the outskirts of Ashford in Kent it is easy to find, being signposted from Junction 10 on the M20 motorway and close to the international railway station. 1,700 car parking spaces await those that come by road.

There are over 75 stores, making it one of the biggest of its kind in England. Big discounts of 30 – 50% are the norm on excitingly labelled goods. Buy cooking utensils, underwear, clothing, books, toys, shoes, china, luggage and so much more at McArthur Glen.

You may have to bring the kids and for them there is a bonus – a good sized playground in which to let off steam and make new friends. Right next door is the food court which has well known fast food outlets, cafés and coffee shops and even a good old English fish and chip shop.

If you enjoy shopping and love getting something good at a bargain price, this is the place to come.
