Weybridge

Weybridge

Weybridge is close to the attractions of London yet surrounded by Surrey countryside.

The famous Brooklands racing track at Weybridge was the first to be built in Britain and Brooklands Museum now features a fine collection of historic racing and sports cars, as well as aircraft including the supersonic Concorde.

Elmbridge Museum is located in Church Street above the library, and has a range of interesting artefacts and treasures.

Other local attractions cater for a variety of interests. Hampton Court Palace is the scene of 500 years of royal history from Henry VIII to George II. Claremont Landscape Garden and the 18th century Painshill Park both offer tranquil settings for a day out. For those seeking a little more excitement, Sandown Park racecourse and Mercedes-Benz World as well as Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures are all close by.
