Kingston

Kingston village nestles in the Downs to the west of Lewes. You will find all the attributes of a village, there is a 12th - 14th century church, village hall, pub and school (which is shared with Iford). It has grown considerably from the single street of cottages and houses in the 1920s to a large and thriving village. Many houses were build during the 1960s to house increasing numbers of academics from Sussex University. It is on a regular bus route from Lewes.
