Long hours of sunshine and award-winning beaches make Bognor Regis one of the most popular seaside resorts on the south coast. Just minutes away from the tranquillity and beauty of the South Downs, Bognor Regis is a lively town with lots to offer all of its visitors. Clean bathing water and good facilities help make Bognor Regis extremely popular with young families and the European Blue Flag and Seaside Awards are proof of the high quality beaches. As well as traditional seaside fun and water sports, the town boasts lively cafes and restaurants, a bustling shopping centre and good leisure facilities. Only a few miles from the historic town of Arundel and the seaside resort of Littlehampton, Bognor Regis is home to the Butlins Resort, the largest holiday centre in the South of England which welcomes day visitors as well as staying guests. For the more adventurous, there are a selection of Boats & Ships to explore – but you will need to go at least nine metres below sea-level, just off the coast to find any of them! For something more genteel, Hotham Park offers relaxing walks among the trees and, during the summer, look out for live music and entertainment on the bandstand.
