Birdham

Birdham is the setting for JMW Turner's famous painting of Chichester Harbour (now at Petworth House). The Sussex Falconry Centre is situated at Birdham, along with the nearby Chichester Marina (the second largest marina in England) and Birdham Pool, built in the 1930s, which is said to be the oldest marina in the country. The Salterns Way Cycle & Wheelchair Path passes through Birdham.
