Friendly staff and a warm welcome await at our award winning 16th century traditional English country pub.

You will find us set in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by 150 acres of woodland hiding a wealth of footpaths linking, amongst others, the site of the old Shottenden Mill, an Iron Age earth works, the Drawing room and the famous Pulpit (504ft above sea level) with its magnificent views of the surrounding Kent countryside and villages.

We are committed to environmental sustainability and green tourism, and promoting the local environment, resources and community
