The Chesil Rectory

‘Great British Dining at Winchester’s Oldest Restaurant’.
Dating back to 1450, this beautifully preserved city landmark, located in central Winchester, serves modern British classics. Head Chef is Damian Brown, formerly at Fortnum and Mason, whose emphasis on fresh local produce and simple quality cooking compliments the relaxed and stylish interior of the restaurant which has many original features including oak beams and fireplaces. Dishes are very reasonably priced with brunch, lunch, a la carte and Sunday roast available plus the scrumptious private dining room upstairs.
Closed Sunday evening and all day Monday.
Also closed Christmas day and Boxing day.
