Living heritage Oxfordshire craft show at Blenheim Palace

Three days of superb craftsmanship are promised this Bank Holiday at the Living Heritage Oxfordshire Craft Show from 23rd – 25th August. Held in the beautiful surroundings of Blenheim Palace, the Craft Show will feature some of the finest craftsman, artists and designers in the country. And there is so much more enjoy while at Britain’s greatest Palace, from the splendour and tranquillity of the landscaped parklands, the timeless sophistication of the Palace to the new visitor experience ‘Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story’, there is no better place to be this Bank Holiday.
The Living Heritage Oxfordshire Craft show is an event that is full of activity and has expanded to incorporate more specialist demonstrations than ever before. Enjoy everything from chainsaw carving and cross stitch to basket weaving, spoon carving, pottery and a blacksmiths competition to name but a few. Children will love the free puppet shows and amusements, make & take marquee, hamsters display and much more.
A day out at Blenheim Palace is not complete without stepping inside the Palace to see the magnificent State Rooms, and the new state-of-the-art visitor experience ‘Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story’. In the Great Court you can enjoy summer entertainment ‘Servants and Stories’ as our costumed characters share stories of Blenheim Palace’s fascinating past.
For more family fun, take a ride on the miniature train from the Palace to the Pleasure Gardens where you can explore the Marlborough Maze, the adventure play area, the Butterfly House, and the ‘Blenheim Bygones’ exhibition.
