Kids get beneath the bonnet this Easter
Thursday, 28th February 2008
If your kids are more partial to car bonnets than their Easter equivalents, why not pay a visit to Mercedes-Benz World over 21-24 March and 5-18 April where children will be invited to uncover hidden treasure.
The Treasure Hunt for Easter will see youngsters encouraged to solve a series of clues which will take them all over the building, ending with a chocolate surprise for each participant on completion of the hunt.
In addition to the Hunt, Easter excitement will be in full supply with an exciting driving display by The Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows Display Team which is guaranteed to make the weekend one to remember.
The display team combines four exceptionally skilled drivers with four equally impressive and powerful AMG cars, guaranteed to wow both parents and children. Displays will take place at lunchtime daily over the Easter weekend and subsequent school holidays on the renowned Mercedes-Benz World Handling Circuits and Wet Skid Circle.
In anticipation of the Silver Arrows whetting your kids' appetite, why not sign them up for The Stars Driving Club? These driving experiences will be running every day to promote safer driving for young motorists through a range of fun activities designed to develop skills and road safety.
A fully qualified instructor will take them out in a dual-controlled Mercedes-Benz, where they will be taught how to handle and drive the car in a safe and controlled environment. However, advanced booking is strongly advised as spaces are in high demand.
Finally, the history of Mercedes-Benz and Brooklands will also be brought to life for younger visitors by the Mercedes-Benz World Streetmosphere characters. TED the crash test dummy will be on hand to entertain and educate.
The design competition, treasure hunt, Silver Arrows Display team and kids driving will take place every day between 21-24 March and 5-18 April. Stars Driving introductory packages start from £35 for 30 minutes.
