Family What's On...
There are Family Friendly theatres, museums, galleries, concert halls and festivals all over the South East region. We are gradually developing a 'gold standard' for family friendly activities - a flexible approach by which we can demonstrate that we value families as a key part of our audiences, visitor and users.
We aim to offer a great experience, from a warm welcome to clear information on absorbing things to do, make, watch or listen to. Seeing grandparents and their grandchildren absorbed and entertained by pantomime slapstick, fathers or mothers and their small offspring concentrating furiously on making a bird out of feathers and coloured paper, or siblings outdoing each other in a dance class - that's the best possible introduction to enjoying what we do for many years to come, and having a great time as a family into the bargain.
There's a Family Friendly symbol gradually creeping across the region - and already in use elsewhere - Manchester, Liverpool, Yorkshire, the South West. Where you see this symbol [ff logo] you will know that your family will find something to enjoy.
