It is a 15th century courtyard inn with stained glass windows. Oliver Cromwell stayed here after his victory at the battle of Worcester in 1651. The TIC (Georgian Room) is an attractive room which was built on to The Great Hall during the 17th century, and is named after Georgian panelling, which still remains throughout the room.
The staff at Aylesbury Tourist Information Centre look forward to welcoming you to The Vale of Aylesbury. Opening times are Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 5pm (April-October) & 10am - 4.30pm (November-March)
