Dymchurch is a small village located on the south east coast of Kent at the very edge of the Romney Marshes.

The village itself has an assortment of accommodation types ranging from Hotel Bed and Breakfast to Caravans and also a large holiday park.

Dymchurch played a significant role in the Anglo-French Survey between 1784–1790, which linked the Royal Greenwich Observatory with the Paris Observatory using trigonometry.
