Portsmouth
From amusement arcades to skateparks, there's lots to see and do on a day out to Portsmouth's Southsea sea front.
Fun on the Front
The glorious stretch of shingle beach in Southsea, Hampshire, offers traditional seaside fun and amusements. Clarence Pier and the South Parade Pier both reside next to the Southsea beaches and are quite different in their appearance. Along Southsea seafront there are plenty of activities all year round, from play parks and crazy golf to skateparks, a model village, and Canoe Lake with its pedalos.
Attractions
Southsea Castle and the Portsmouth City Museum are just a couple of the free attractions near by, whilst the Blue Reef Aqaurium is well worth a visit.
Aimed at Children aged 8 and under is Southsea Splash Pool which encorporates two paddling pools and lots of play equipment including a mini trampoline, seesaw and plenty of grass to simply relax and enjoy the sunshine.
