Beatrix Potter: Artist, Scientist, Storyteller

In this illustrated talk Anney Harris, co-founder of The Beatrix Potter Society, covers all aspects of Beatrix Potter’s life, from her privileged upbringing in London to her Lake District home.  Discover the extraordinary range of her talents, and gain a greater awareness of this remarkable woman’s legacy.

Piper as Picasso:  the magic of his prints

Orde Levinson, an expert on John Piper’s work, will give an overview of Piper’s graphic work, exploring similarities between Piper and Picasso and their creative output.  This fascinating lecture will also look at Piper’s influence amongst British artists.
