BARN COTTAGE:
The Barn Cottage is an attractive conversion on one level with its own entrance, garden and barbecue area with access to the farm grounds and tennis court. Parking is immediately outside. There are two double bedrooms with a double bed in one room, full size bunk beds in the other and a bathroom with separate bath and shower. There is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and living area with a sofa bed, and a separate lobby area for coats and boots, with washing machine and dryer. The cottage is centrally heated.
LITTLE MERSLEY FARMHOUSE:
Little Mersley Farmhouse built in 1672 is a fine example of an Island yeoman farmer's house standing alone in its own grounds. Following a sensitive renovation, it is now available as our largest most well appointed cottage. Separate sitting room and dining room off from well appointed kitchen with separate cloakroom / utility room and toilet. Spacious downstairs master bedroom with en suite toilet accessible for those who find steps and stairs difficult. Four other bedrooms to sleep 10 comfortably.
THE MILKING PARLOUR:
The Milking Parlour (adjoining the Paddock Cottage; another Mersley Farm Cottage) is an attractive barn conversion, with a comfortable and spacious sitting room and kitchen with vaulted ceiling. There are four bedrooms - two rooms with double beds, one twin-bedded room and one bunk-bedded room, to sleep eight in all. The Parlour is centrally heated. This property sleeps eight people comfortably. There is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and living area and a separate lobby area for coats and boots, with washing machine and dryer.
PADDOCK COTTAGE:
Paddock Cottage, adjoining the Milking Parlour (another Mersley Farm Cottage), consists of a sitting room with sofa bed, kitchen, en suite bathroom and a double bedded room with room for a single bed if required, with french windows, opening onto a patio and the paddock. The Cottage is centrally heated.
Paddock Cottage and Milking Parlour can be rented as one, to sleep up to 12 people. It is especially suitable for crew accommodation and we are able to arrange minibus transport to/from Cowes, if required.
MILL COTTAGE:
Mill Cottage is the southern half of Little Mersley Barn, built in about 1720 and used as a mill in the 19th century. The original mill stones can be seen in the entrance to Mill Cottage.
Faces south across the valley. Sleeps 6. Downstairs disabled friendly bedroom with separate vehicle access. Two spacious upstairs bedrooms, one twin bedded and one double. All are en suite. Spacious kitchen dining room as a gallery to the separate sitting room below which opens out onto a patio. The patio looks onto an acre of lawns with views across farmland and the valley.
KILN COTTAGE:
Part of Little Mersley Barn built in 1802, facing the Downs and completed in 2007, is our most spacious and luxury property. Sleeping 4 in two spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin, both en suite, with the original timbers exposed. Breakfast and evening patios on either side of the cottage enable guests to take full advantage of the glorious situation. Tennis Court, Farm Shop, parking directly adjacent to cottage.
