A warm and friendly welcome assured. Our aim is to ensure that your stay in our comfortable Edwardian Home (whether an overnight visit, a weekend or much longer) will be a comfortable and memorable experience.
All rooms are non-smoking, with en suite or private bathroom, internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, radio/CD player and mini fridge. Off road parking, bicycle storage and 24 hour laundry facility. Licensed for Lnt sale of alcohol. Credit card payment available.
Situated close to the centre of the historic market town of Wantage which is a traditional market town with a good range of shops and services including a cinema, restaurants, pubs and bars and a small market in the town square twice weekly, and a regular bus service to Oxford. Convenient for the Ridgeway, Oxford, Swindon, Newbury and Didcot (regular and fast train service to London) Uffington White Horse, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. Approximately 4 miles from the wedding venues at Lain's Barn and Ardington. We would be pleased to offer walkers a courtesy collection and return to the Ridgeway Youth Hostel.
Wedding and party groups are welcome. Children are welcome guests and catered for with cots, high chair and childrens' menus. Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for animals with the exception of guide dogs. Breakfast is included in the accommodation cost, with either Continental or cooked English breakfast to your choice, utilising where possible locally produced ingredients, honey, home-made jams, preserves and fresh free-range farm eggs. Packed lunches available. Home cooked dinner is available on request, with vegetarian diets catered for.
