Camping & Touring ParkOn A33 between Reading & Basingstoke on the Hampshire/Berkshire border, Wellington Country Park is set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands.
Our campsite lies amongst beautiful woodland glades and offers the opportunity for you to pitch in wonderful natural surroundings, allowing you to enjoy the beauty and fascination of being at one with nature. All normal facilities are available including showers and laundry. Rallies are very welcome.
The Campsite provides for the ideal destination or as a touring base.
As a destination, campers get ‘FREE’ access and use of all the Park’s facilities as part of their fee. The Park itself provides an adventure play area, toddlers' area, sand pits, water play, slides, miniature railway (£1 extra), nature trail maze, crazy golf plus various play equipment to climb on and through, to ensure a fun-filled day for all! Opening at Easter 2010, our new 'Animal Farm!'
In addition, various woodland nature trails allow you freedom to wander through beautiful forests where you can discover our herd of Red Deer or stroll around our 35 acre lake, with its assortment of wildlife. With our shop, cafe and a full programme of special events taking place throughout the year, our campsite is a destination with a difference.
As a touring base, campers are offered an ideal location to visit local areas and attractions. Beautiful picturesque towns and locations such as Windsor, Winchester, Oxford and the New Forest are all within travelling distance. Nearby attractions include Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington and the major shopping areas of Reading, with its Oracle Centre and Basingstoke, with its Festival Place both offer fantastic shopping, restaurant and leisure activities
