The Rise
Bed & Breakfast
AwardSet in a superb location with pleasant gardens and south-facing terraces, The Rise offers all the charm and hospitality of an English Bed and Breakfast at its best, reflected in VisitBritain’s 5 Star and Gold Award.
This large and elegant 1920's home has delightful, sunny and spacious ensuite bedrooms all overlooking beautiful views across green fields to the Sea. Take a walk through our terraced garden to join the 1066 Country Walk or just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside.
We feel that one day in Rye is not enough to enjoy the delights of this beautiful medieval town, so why not stay a little longer if you can, so that you can explore the surrounding area with its many castles and gardens? We are close to Ashford International Railway Station (London-Rye 1hr 20mins by Fast Train) and the Channel Ports, so its easy to take a day trip to France. A direct train service to Rye operates from Ashford, Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings.
You will be able to relax and unwind in one of our individually designed bedrooms; each with an ensuite bathroom, all rooms have the above stunning views towards the town of Rye and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and the Sea. The ensuite bathrooms are spacious and have both bath and shower. Digital colour televisions with DVD, clock/radios, hairdryers, hospitality trays, magazines and quality bathroom toiletries all add to your comfort. Here is a taste of our rooms:
Castle View - bright and sunny Twin-bedded room with dual aspect overlooking the gardens. If guests prefer this can be arranged as a Super-King size bed.
Winchelsea View - with large balcony, is traditionally decorated with a King-size Four Poster bed.
Rye View - calm and romantically styled with a Double-size Four Poster bed.
A traditional Sussex breakfast using local produce is served at individual tables in our oak paneled dining room with French doors opening out onto the garden. We are pleased to display Enjoy England’s Breakfast Award recognising those establishments who offer guests both high quality and choice of breakfast together with service and hospitality, that exceeds expectations of a Five Star establishment.
Stay at The Rise and start creating memories that will last a lifetime.
