Aylesbury Spa is a village four star B&B in Bishopstone, just outside Aylesbury on
the Buckinghamshire/ Oxfordshire border. In addition to ground floor double
bedroom with en suite, guests may use the garden sauna, private gardens and
massage and waxing facilities. Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome scheme members.
Aylesbury Spa is adjacent to the North Bucks Way and two doors from the village
pub. Sara and Jem are trained masseurs and pride themselves on their friendly
welcome and breakfast menu which features local eggs, bacon,
sausages and honey. Sadly we have to go further afield for smoked salmon!

Road Directions
From Oxford take the A418 to Thame and then on towards Aylesbury. After Stone
and just before the Bugle Horn pub, turn right into Portway Road. After ½ mile turn
left onto Bishopstone. ½ mile further on and you will enter Bishopstone. Pass the
Harrow public house on your left and we are the second house on the left before the
bridle path. We have white signs on our lawn.
From London exit the M25 at junction 20 and take the A41 towards Aylesbury. After
exits for Hemel Hempstead, Chesham and Tring you will see the exit for Wendover,
take this exit. Drive right on into Aston Clinton until you can see a petrol filling
station on your left. At the mini round about just before the petrol station turn left.
Follow this road over all the traffic calming and on into Weston Turville (don’t be
tempted to turn right at the mini roundabout in front of the parade of shops!). Keep
going until you arrive at a slightly larger roundabout on the junction with the A413.
At the round about turn right. At the next round about turn left. Go on over the
railway bridge until you come to another mini round about with a church on the right.
Take the second exit and turn almost immediately right towards March and
Bishopstone. After about 1 mile go carefully over the level crossing. Keep on this
road right into Bishopstone. Aylesbury Spa is almost out the other end of the village.
If you get to the Harrow pub you have gone 2 doors too far. We are on the right hand
side immediately after the bridle path and we have a wavy topped trellis fence.
Public Transport Directions
From London take the main line train from Marylebone to either Stoke Mandeville
or Aylesbury stations and take a taxi from there (7 minutes drive).
From Oxford take the number 280 bus to Aylesbury, walk over to the train station
and take a taxi from there (7 minutes drive).
