The Isle of Wight is set for another eventful year with an calendar crammed to bursting. The island's nautical links mean its easy to find events that allow you to spend time in, on or by the water, and with an array of home grown producers on the island, food festivals, aritsan markets and dining experiences feature heavily in the 2024 events calendar. Heading over to the island with the family? Look out for fantastic added-value events being offered at many of the tourist attractions on the island including the Space Weekend, Halloween Fun and lots more community events to celebrate the autumn.

Make a visit to Carisbrook Castle (open weekends and holidays only until February half term) and walk the walls with their breathtaking views, or visit one of the most famous houses on the Island, Osborne, it's a great choice whenever you visit. Why not take a stroll down to Queen Victoria's private beach and your visit can combine history, coast and countryside in one!
As half of the Isle of Wight is a Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB), the dramatic scenery and beautiful countryside play a starring role in any visit, with many of the island's events celebrating the islands rural nature and natural beauty including the Isle of Wight walking festival which stretches across the island with over 55 walks on offer (11th - 19th May 24) and the Royal Isle of Wight County Show (13th & 14th July 24).
